Welcome to the St Thomas Panthers U13 Tier 1 tryout phase.
My name is Wade Fitzgerald and I will be the Head Coach for this years team. I will be utilizing this platform for the teams information during the tryouts. Please monitor for necessary updates as we proceed through the next one to two weeks.
Tryout times have been scheduled on our associations calendar and groupings will be below. Please make sure you come to the proper grouping.
If you are coming from a different female association then you will require PTS (Permission to Skate) please make sure you get this from your association and email to
[email protected], none needed if you are coming from a boys league.
I realize this is a stressful time of year for most, I will try and keep the process as transparent as possible with information that you need. Details shared below will better prepare you for your week at hand. Each player will receive minimum of 3 tryout skates. At least two of these skates will be through the Tier 1 process. After the second skate, players will be informed of continuation with Tier 1 or report to the Tier 2 process.
I appreciate all volunteers and helpers but at this will not be required until the team is picked or possibly during the games vs South Huron as we will need qualified individuals on bench.
First skate (Tuesday April 22nd) will be a development skate, regular practice format with individual and partner drills. Show casing individual talents.
Second Skate (Wednesday April 24th) will be an Intersquad game.
Third skate (if selected) will be a game vs South Huron Thursday April 26th and/or Saturday April 27th.
